In another first for Papua New Guinea, Avis Car Rentals has just taken delivery of a fleet of new 10 seater luxury mini buses to cater to the increasing corporate demand for upmarket transportation.



The 10 seater Toyota Quantum mini buses were brought in by Ela Motors for Avis in response to market demand for an upmarket corporate people mover. The new models come complete with a sophisticated audio system, driver and front passenger airbags, luxury trim seat fabric, dual zone air conditioning and a built in DVD player and screen.


“Increased business activity and confidence has seen a lift in demand for a smaller, more luxurious people mover which can be used for VIP transport or corporate hire” said Mike Roberts, General Manager Avis PNG  "The standard minibus available does not meet this demand so we have worked with Ela Motors and sourced this model specifically to meet this demand. Customer response has been extremely positive and we are more than happy with the feedback and orders we have received.”
